Celestial Eagle ASAT F-15

This model is a replica of a F-15 used to launch an anti-satellite missile (ASAT) in orbit. The replica was built as a retirement gift for the individual whose anaylsis and mathematical models determined the correct airspeed and altitude needed for a successful ASAT launch. In September 1985 the Celestial Eagle deactivated the satellite on its first attempt! Thanks to Tim who built the model for his fellow employee and submitting the pictures to FlightPose.
